About Us
Twin Green Healthcare Medical centre is located at newly renovated facility in the heart of Parkeshire, Central West region of NSW and includes registered GPs, practice nurses and allied health services. Our community based general practice offers a broad range of health services ranging fromchronic disease management to skin cancer checks and travel medicine. The practice also provides mental health care, family planning, together with men’s health and women’s health.

Answers to your most common questions.How to book an appointment?
You can book online for a standard appointment for a general short consultation, or a long appointments to discuss complex issues. Alternatively you can call us on 02 6865 5112. Please telephone to book appointments for immunizations, surgical procedures, care plans, counselling, medicals, etc. Just tell our friendly receptionist what you feel you may require when you call so that we can offer you an appropriate appointment. When making an appointment, please consider the consultation type and length you require with your chosen doctor to ensure there is sufficient time to discuss all your concerns. If you have a number of concerns to discuss, you may need to consider a longer appointment time. This will help our doctors run on time and also is cost effective as the “out of pocket” cost would be lesser for the patient.
Pricing and Payment
We are a private billing practice. This means that Medicare rebate will cover only a part of the total cost of consultation. Fees are payable at the time of consultation. Under most circumstances, our doctors bulk bill children under 16 and valid health card holders with an appointment on weekdays. Discounted rates may apply for pensioners. Private fees applies for all consultations on weekends. General pricing guide. Please ask our reception team for specific appointment types Standard appointment 15 minutes : $90 Rebate $42.85 Long appointment 30 minutes : $140 Rebate $82.90 Transaction processing fee will apply for payments made using EFTPOS credit/debit card. Repeated cancellation within 2 hours of your appointment or a no show will attract a $50 fee. Initial Workers’ Compensation consultation fees are paid immediately after the consultation and reimbursed by your employer.
Same day appointments
If you feel you need an urgent appointment, please contact us via phone and we will try our best to fit you in. We believe that you should be able to see your doctor when you are ill, not 2 weeks later. Please do not email for urgent matters. If, however, you need emergency care please call 000 or access your nearest emergency department.
Will I be seen on time?
Our medical Centre will try very hard to avoid unnecessary delays and waiting times. At the same time, the doctors at TGH do their best to ensure that every patient is given sufficient time and consideration to discuss their health concerns, and this can often take additional time over the allocated appointment duration. To this end, we strongly encourage all patients to make appointments wherever possible. If longer consultations are required, these can be easily accommodated by speaking to the receptionist.
Do I need an appointment for my prescriptions?
Most prescriptions do need a doctor consult. However, in some cases, repeat prescriptions may be requested to your usual GP via HotDoc for a small fee. Each request will be assessed by the doctor and they will approve and send a script via SMS or decline and request that you make an appointment.
